This 12”x12” oil painting was inspired by a mountain scape image I had found online. A great mountain on a backdrop of a colourful nighttime sky dotted with stars painted in oil. Working on this painting made me realise what a joy oil paint is to blend with, and how we can really never get tired of staring at mountains 🏔. You can purchase a print of the above painting.
Prior to this, I made a smaller scale mountain painting in oil, which is on sale on my Etsy if you’re interested. It’s 12” x 7.9” on cotton canvas which is about 2.1cm deep. The edges are also painted (more details available in the store) and finished with a glossy varnish (nice in person, but terrible to take pictures of).
